The introduction of the British Airways flat bed seats
in it's long haul Club World business class cabin
continues - presently being offered on key transatlantic
and Asian routes.
We tested the seats on several transatlantic flights,
after careful route selection to check that the product
would be available.
The first thing to say is that British Airways has
pioneered new standards of comfort for long haul
business class, and it must surely be a question of
"when" and not "if" many competitor airlines will follow
this trend.
Seating comfort is one of the prime issues about the
onboard experience on a long haul flight - and being
able to lie down properly and sleep is the main
ingredient of that.
Disclaimer: Flat bed
seating request depends upon
airlines available and
destination.
