From the first moment of check-in at the
airport, all your needs are anticipated and
met. The cabins are exclusive. Seats are
configured to allow generous personal space
with a seat pitch that ranges from 62 to 74
inches on long haul routes. When fully
reclined, the reclining seat allows
passengers to stretch out and sleep. Pure
wool blankets and oversized pillows are
provided for full comfort. The cabin
crew/passenger ration is 1/6.
Cathay Pacific has telephone and fax
services on all aircraft. Two telephones are
available for your convenience. Simply write
fax messages on forms provided by flight
attendants, or fax your own documents while
in flight.
In addition to "haute-cuisine" style
five-course lunch or dinner prepared with
the finest ingredients from around the
world, Cathay Pacific also offers a
refreshment menu. This means you may order
meals to be served to you at your preferred
times. Refreshment menu choices range from
light snacks such as sandwiches, to more
substantial offerings such as Asian soups or
hot entrées. Cathay Pacific's noodle service
is also available throughout the flights to
and from Canada.
Meals and drinks are served in elegant
custom-designed glassware and crockery.
Silver soup tureens, champagne buckets,
serving dishes and cutlery are also in the
airline's own special design.
Personal televisions in the armrest of each
seat offer you eight channels of
entertainment, movies and TV features. Up to
22 different first-run movies are available
each month and the features cover a wide
range of topics, from humour to news and
sports. There are also collectable giveaways
and mementos, from time to time; and amenity
kits for all passengers.
