class cabins of all its Mega-top 747s. They can be
converted into a bed at the touch of a button and a
divider can be put between seats. Slumberettes come
with a phone, entertainment system, reading light

define the unique ambience of the new First Class
cabin featuring the Sky Suite (progressively being
introduced to the Megatop 747 fleet). Of the
multitude of refinements awaiting in the new First
Class cabin, pride of place goes to the magnificent
new Sky Suite. Upholstered in Connolly leather and
trimmed with burr wood as found in the world's most
prestigious motor cars, it evokes a spirit
associated with the golden age of travel. Every
aspect of the seat has been designed with space and
sumptuous comfort in mind. To help find the optimum
position for relaxing during your flight, the chair
can be adjusted in a variety of ways. It can recline
to any angle, including a completely flat bed. As it
reclines, the seat bottom automatically articulates
to provide better support. An especially innovative
feature is the new built-in "optimum comfort"
position which provides the most comfortable angle
to support the body whilst reading or relaxing.
Total comfort is assured with the wide range of
touch sensitive seat controls. Singapore Airlines
in-flight entertainment has long been known as "the
Biggest Show in the Sky" but the large 36 cm (14
inch) screen found in First Class breaks all
records.
 Completely
redesigned, the new MEGATOP 747 Raffles cabin exudes
an ambience of contemporary elegance. The Ultimo
seat offers an extra personal space and seat comfort
which allows to stretch out or work in an
unprecedented level of comfort. The Raffles class is
progressively being introduced to the Megatop 747
fleet. Aboard MEGATOP 747's the upper deck is
exclusive to Raffles Class and there is also a
spacious cabin on the main deck. Ultimo - The new
Italian-designed seats provide Raffles Class
customers with an unrivalled degree of comfort. The
elegant, aerodynamic profile of the seat ensures a
relaxed, comfortable posture even on the longest
flights. Indeed, the unique shape makes it possible
to relax or sleep on your side or on your back.
Another improvement is afforded by the seat pitch
which is the largest in Business Class of any major
airline currently offering three cabin classes. To
complement the extra personal space this creates,
both the height and width of the seat have been
increased, and leg rests widened. All of which makes
for a supremely comfortable journey. The seat
control includes a one-touch reset feature. On the
main deck the middle seats in the centre section are
wider by one inch for extra comfort. All seats are
installed with an adjustable seat-bottom cushion for
better leg support. For added comfort, there is a
six-way adjustable headrest. To add to the relaxed
ambience, the use of two different fabric designs on
alternating seats enhances a sense of individuality
in the cabin. Other thoughtful touches include a
personal reading light which can be swivelled to
allow a variety of reading positions. And an
innovative privacy screen which is a world first in
Business Class. There is also amenity storage and an
in-seat laptop power supply.
